How to write a cursive capital H

Draw two parallel downstrokes, then connect them with a crossbar that loops in the middle.

How to write a cursive lowercase h

Swing up into a tall loop to the top line, pull straight down to the baseline, retrace up into a hump and come down for the exit.

Lowercase h rises to the top line (an ascender letter).

Joining h to other letters

After the hump, h exits from the baseline and connects to the next letter. Exit stroke: from the baseline (a low join).

Most common mistake with cursive h

Making the hump too narrow, which turns h into an l followed by an awkward i.
