3. Free browser-based tools

Cursive Generator provides creative lettering, typography, and worksheet generation tools directly in your web browser. Everything on the site is free to use. There are no user accounts, no login forms, no subscription fees, and no payment requirements.

All processing and rendering take place locally on your computer or mobile device. When you type text, generate ambigrams, or export worksheets, your data stays securely within your web browser. We do not upload your text, inputs, or generated files to any server.

Our available browser tools include:

  • A collection of 122 free cursive and calligraphy fonts with transparent PNG and vector SVG export options.

  • Handwriting-on-lined-paper image generators with PNG export.

  • Cursive alphabet A–Z reference tools with individual per-letter tracing sheets and comprehensive A–Z practice workbook PDFs.

4. Ownership and font licensing

You own everything you create using Cursive Generator. We claim no ownership, copyright, or intellectual property rights over the text you enter, the designs you customize, or the files you generate.

All fonts available on Cursive Generator are open-source typefaces licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 or the Apache License 2.0. Under these licenses, you may freely use your exported PNG images, SVG vectors, and PDF documents in both personal and commercial projects. Please respect the respective SIL Open Font License 1.1 and Apache License 2.0 terms governing the underlying font software.

5. Acceptable use

Cursive Generator is designed for personal, educational, artistic, and commercial use. You are welcome to use our tools to practice penmanship, design graphics, create teaching materials, and make personal or commercial artwork. We ask that you use the site respectfully and lawfully. Please do not attempt to interfere with the operation of the website or use automated scrapers that could impair the experience for other visitors.

6. Advertisements and analytics

Cursive Generator tools are provided free of charge. The site currently displays no advertisements and does not use any analytics services. Should advertising or analytics be introduced in the future, these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy will be updated before any such changes take effect.
